IKnowU

What is IKnowU?
IKnowU (pronounced 'I know you') is a software tool that supports learning, customization, and monitoring of the application of UPi. The main goal of this tool is to bring productivity to the application of UPi, which will be extended to include the generation of UIs for multiple contexts of use. In particular, it contains the KnowUI software.

This tool is composed of the following functionality, with which the SE and HCI professionals will interact:

• Access the specification of the process with information about roles, activities, artifacts, and tools.
• Customize the pre-defined process, considering characteristics of the organization and of the project.
• Use of pre-defined templates of the process that consider user profile, platform, and environment.
• Monitor the process following a workflow.

This tool brings the following advantages:

• For Project Managers: Access to information about the progress of the project to facilitate decision-making.
• For Clients: Monitor if the delivery of the product is near and easy access to artifacts.
• For HCI and Software Engineers: Easy communication throughout the process life cycle with the entire team.

Requirements
Install the following open-source software:

• Hibernate
• Struts
• MySQL
• Apache Tomcat
• J2SE Java 2 Standard Edition
