Recent UsiXML news and presentations
The whole UsiXML web site has been migrated from our local server to the central web server of Université catholique de Louvain. Consequently, news have been stopped for a while.
UsiXML and related aspects have been presented and discussed in the following recent events and venues:
- Three posters have been presented during the LSM Doctoral Consortium (Mons, 13 December 2007): Juan Gonzalez, Model-Based Development of Three-Dimensional User Interfaces; Josefina Guerrero, A Method for Developing User Interfaces to Workflow Information Systems; Adrian Stanciulescu, A Transformational Approach for Multimodal Web User Interfaces based on UsiXML. - The latest advances of UsiXML have been presented during the Similar final review meeting (Brussels, 19-2 November 2007). See the list of Final Deliverables.
- Adrien Coyette defended his Ph.D. thesis on Multi-Fidelity Prototyping of User Interfaces (Louvain-la-Neuve, 22 October 2007). See Adrien Coyette, A Methodological Framework for Multi-Fidelity Sketching of User Interfaces, Ph.D. thesis, Université catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, 22 October 2007.

- Organisation of the Joint MAUSE-SIMILAR Workshop on Usability of User Interfaces: From Monomodal to Multimodal (IWUMUI'2007). This workshop was held during the BCS HCI'2007 conference (Lancaster, 3 September 2007).
. Silvia Abrahão and Jean Vanderdonckt organized the workshop. Adrian Stanciluescu presented a paper entitled "Assessment of a methodology for the development of multimodal
user interfaces based on IFIP properties". Program.
- Papers presented during the IFIP Interact'2007 conference (Rio de Janeiro, 10-14 September 2007). See the Publications page for downloading them.
